How much gas did you have in it? It might have starved, stalled a bit then fired back up. That was the bang. When mine gets low and I rip on it, it starves and does the exact same thing. I dont let it get low now with the blower.;)

it had over 1/2 tank, but doesn't the rev limiter just cut the fuel off. this sounds exactly like what happened.Originally Posted by wick
