    That sucks. Sorry it went so horribly wrong for you.

    I have never liked ebay. Don't like the idea of bidding on something that someone else can sneak in at the last minute and buy right out from under me.

    Doesn't seem worth the hassle.

    I thought when you click "commit to buy" you enter into a legally binding contract to pay for the item
