May have lost Willie but I do like Davenport. He is a good strong back to keep punching it up the middle. O-Line just needs to protect Ben better and D needs to somehow get the the QB faster.

Davenport and Davis got 151 yards after Willie got hurt and those screwy play-calling weenie whackers said, "Well, Pittsburgh's running game is done for tonight. No more play action." WTF, Mute, DVE.

You gotta feel bad for Willie, but didnt it look like the o-line was run blocking so much better with Davenport in there? I really think our o-line has trouble run blocking for Parker. He is not a straight line runner like Davenport, and our o-line seemed to like the slow physical style more than the explosive run style.

Willie took a beating all year, as has Ben so the o-line needs some attention still, but I find it curious that we dominated time of posession and got back to a physical style without Parker. I like Parker, but Davenport brings a dif element to the field.

I hear ya - the TV announcers usually suck big time - I pump DVE through the surround sound on unless we're on Sunday Night Football. I like Al M & John M...

I wish ESPN would dump Tony Corn-ball and bring in Merril Hoge. He actually understands the game of football, and he gets into pretty good discussions with that bonehead Jaworski.
