    That's a sweet challenger!

Why did they put drag radials in the front?

Did the same thing with the demon. cant honestly answer that. I guess when you wear out the rears you can rotate tires and get normal tires for the front and still have drag radials on the back??

Fronts would probably wear out quickly?? DR’s probably don’t like to turn? Just get 2 street tires and put them on the fronts...saving the spare DR’s for the rear.

They are a brand new nexan drag radial so don't know what to expect. If they don't suck that is a good plan. I might even have a set of stock hellcat tires still in the garage from the last challenger

Saw that earlier today Dan. Curious if a diff brace prevents such a failure?

Pretty much everyone who races has a diff brace. I have one. Does not make it bulletproof but helps with wheel hop issues. Independent rears have benefits but not as tough as a solid rear. How about the newer Mustangs? Do they use a diff brace?

Id discount the modified one because all bets are off when you add horsepower. So one out of however many were there isn't the end of the world especially not knowing the history of the car.could be a "drive through the wheelhop" kinda guy, lol. or it just was weak and broke. No different than the weak suck 10 bolts gm has used forever, or the half shaft breaking or input shaft breaking issues with cobras, the plagued hydraulic gm clutch systems, Hellcat driveshafts, etc etc. There's always a weakness. I put a diff brace on my hellcat just as good measure when I had it
