New Engine Stand

The local V.F.W has a Cummins Tool Sale every so often. So I went and bought a brand new Cummins engine stand for $30. 750# limit. Not a bad deal. The back wheels are fixed, but I am going to pickup 2 caster wheels and fabricate mounting brackets for them so the stand will be able to spin in all directions. They also had a nice 4000# cherrypicker (engine hoist) for $150.

Now I just need to get an engine block to mount on their.

holy shit...they been having those here all week....i never went thinking it was probably some piece of shit sale...damn me

i can always use some tools.

It was only a 10 minute ride for me. Wish i would of had thr money for the engine hoist. There is some junk there, but some good stuff too. Depends what your looking for.

there was one right down from my work, and one a couple miles from my house.

im not "looking for" anything....but can always find something of use.

Thanks. you should go next time it's in your area. Even if you don't buy anything, it's something to do for an hour or so.

i go to those cummings sales all the time. the tools there are more like throw away tools.... if u break or lose something,it's not a biggy... i got a 12ton press from there few yrs back and have used it for wheel bearings,yoke's etc... alot of smaller use from it.

yea ya don't feel as bad when they break
