I don't have much of an opinon on the CFC program - but from the sounds of it, its a pretty big failure....

However, for those of you who doubt the global warming thing, you're very sorely mistaken.... Global warming is a real thing, and its happening.... what i don't understand is why we (human beings, organizations, governments, etc) are trying to stop it... Its inevitable... read any book about the earth's long and tretorous past, and you'll see that the earth has gone through tons of cycles between ice-age, warming, ice-age, warming, etc.... global warming is happening and another ice-age will come... how long this will take is anyone's guess... maybe human civilization is speeding up the process, but it can't be stopped - thus all these "green" programs created by the gov't are pretty stupid imho....

And to further this point - to the guys that work outside and say "its not very hot out, so where's the global warming?" - - - - - Do you understand that cooler temperatures in the northern regions of the hemispheres are a direct result of global warming?? Apparently not.... It sounds counterintuitive, but the science and mathematics don't lie.... I can go into a simple explanation if you like, but won't do so unless you would like me to - if you'd rather live in denial, fine by me :)

Don't get me wrong - i'm not a green freak - my car/bikes poulted the air as much as anyone elses... but if you take a moment to understand the truth, then you'll realize... and nothing i say comes from a government thing - i don't care much about politics except for those that affect my job (health care)

Don't care whether you believe me or not... as i said, the science doesn't lie... governments lie, politics lie, but the science of how the world, its resources, and its natural occurrences work do not....

The gulf stream is what carries warm air from the equator up to the northern part of the hemisphere... This is what makes the European and north american summers as warm as they are... As the earth's average temperature rises, ever soooo slightly, this melts the polar ice caps... also, the general climate changes and more rain comes - both of which push more and more fresh water into the oceans... As the ocean's salinity is decreased, the gulf stream slows down - as a result, the warm air from the equator is not carried into the northern parts of the hemisphere and the summers get more and more mild, and the winters get bitter cold... plus they last longer.... Over a period of thousands of years, it brings us into the next ice-age....

As i said before, it will take a LONG time, but its a real issue... science doesn't lie... o, and btw, during the last ice again, its estimated that the gulf stream was 2/3rds as strong as it is now... so its not like it has to completely stop to cause a major change in our climate...

Global warming is not true. The earth heats and cools due to solar activity. Carbon Dioxide is plant food. Without it plants won't exist and neither will we. It's all politics. I don't care what liberal teachers teach. They are all a bunch of lying Socialist scumbags. Accepting Global warming is throwing your rights away. They want a world governemnt watching this BS. Do you realize the implications of a world government? No US sovereignty. The UN is even more corrupt than the US government. It's a scary thought.
