View Full Version : IHRA Pro-Am at PRP - anyone going?

I haven't seen any buzz about this, so I figured I'd ask. Anyone racing in this? The info sheet is posted on the website, but there's no mention of rules for the individual classes. I also noticed it's $135 to enter any and each event, plus it looks like you must be an IHRA member.

Am I reading this wrong, or is this a total rip-off? WFC 10 put out around 100K in prize money and entry was still only $65 for brackets! I was really hoping to run a little for under $50 this weekend, but maybe I'm not.

EDIT: WFC 10 - not Steel Valley - DUH!

As I understand it, we would all end up only being able to run the box/ no box class, and that is open to the normal bracket racers as well as the pro-am cars. I'm looking at it as an off weekend ;)

I may head up to run the Box/No Box race. Place will be a zoo with all the race cars that attend the Pro-Am.
