Who is doing something crazy with their fox like this? I have the front half of the eibach launch kit to install on my Capri. i have been hestitaing becasue I do drive this thing a lot.

Anyone have experience with launch springs on the front of a driver?

How about 90/10 or 70/30's on the street?

How bad is it without a sway bar?

Any impressions are appreciated. I'm going to try the springs, I think thats fine, but how far can I go with some of this other stuff???

Here is what the notch has.

90/10 fronts
Ground Pounder springs front and rear
Double Adjustable Steeda Uppers - rear
UPR lowers
LMM box reinforcements.

The car is fine on the road. I have driven worn-out foxes with stock suspension. that handled worse. I drive the notch on the road a bunch. Do it, it wont be too bad. :bouncy:

I have Moroso trick front drag springs on the front of my car along w/ Lakewood 90-10's and NO saybar, and manual steering and its not bad at all.

hey man the guy that owned your capri in Indiana called me and asked about your car if it was still around ,he heard I knew of it , I told him it was but now its FAST he was happy to hear its still alive. keep the sway bar its off the SVO donor if its still the same one . 90/10s sucked on my 84 stang notch turbo (also a transplant but from a 88 turbo t-bird). there was,nt enough weight for them to help much but your car is heavier than my notch so maybe they will help good luck . I think 90/10's would get really old on the interstate. As for the rest, i don't think you would regret it.

i deabted going 90/10s becasue i really only go like 2-3k miles a year. but with a 2-year-old in the car, i comprimised for 70/30s.

you will be happy with it if you just want it to hook.

Thanks guys! I'm going to put the springs in this week, and yank the sway bar and give it a try. If thats not too hairy, I will add the struts.

I just need to get the front freed up on this thing ;)

Tell him to stop up the track someday and see it now. He might not recognize it, MAP changed a lot around when he had it, and I've changed a lot from when MAP had it. It is still all SVO underneath, but now 8.8 and aftermarkets arms. Front is still the heavy SVO stuff.

The swaybar will have a greater effect on your handling than the struts will.
Atleast it did on my car.:awsome:
