Just had a chance to get on the site. Had hot rods since I was 16 and just had an opportunity to get one again after a long drought. 44 years later a 98 Cobra ragtop. Looking forward to learning new things. My have the times changed. Was pretty simple in the 60s and 70s.
God bless,

Thanks... Appreciated. Not a very good typist but... to answer some questions. I had a 65 Chevy Impala SS, 64 Chevy Impala SS, 69 Pontiac Firebird ragtop, 73 Dodge Challenger, 74 Mustang, 78 Mustang cobra, 79 Ford 150 shortbed 6" lift, and a bunch of trucks. Now driving a 01 Ford 250 super crew 7.3 diesel.
Found this 98 Cobra ragtop back in July sitting in a garage for about 3 years and my wife and I decided to get it as an anniversary present to us. Did a lot of cleanin on it and tune up with Screaming Demon coil packs and Livewire kit, and platinum plugs. It is coming along. Took it Rodeheaver and put long tubes, 4.10s, JLt cold air on it. Got some stagger rims with some big Nittos. Put some Ford racing springs and lowered it with some Bilstein shocks and struts. Next thing is going to be a roll cage of some sort. Then possibly Procharger and/or nitrous?
OK... really who checks gas mileage but. LOL...
