Price: $8,000 cash for everything or $7,000 for just the car. I do not intend to part out anything anytime soon, so please do not ask. Buy the car and bring a truck or trailer for the extra parts. I'm less than 2 hours south of Pittsburgh, and 20 minutes from Morgantown, WV.

55K miles on car. ~1K miles on freshly built motor.
I recently picked up another toy, and now I need to make room in my garage, so the turbo Focus is up for sale. Or for the right price I'd sell the 700hp turbo 2004 Mach 1, but one of them has to go.
I am the original owner, and have performed 100% of the work to this car, so I know it inside and out. Feel free to ask me any questions. This thread will be updated as I think of things.

The GTX2871R turbo and traction bars are now installed. I do still have the 3082R if someone would also be interested in that. I expect it to make right about 400whp at 25psi at 6500 RPM, although I don't intend to take it to the dyno again before selling. Full spool is right about 4K RPMs. I am currently ironing out the new tune, but I will certainly have it completed before I sell the car.
The car is set up for street/strip, meaning it can be driven to the track, driven hard, and then driven right back home. This is a no-joke 11-second potential 4 door hatch. I do intend to continue to drive and race it until it sells.

The car will be sold tuned by me. Any future adjustments would be by you or your tuner. If you choose Tom (Focus Power) I will provide my tune files to him directly, since he assisted me with the tuning. I will not provide the full tune files to any other tuner, but may provide certain value files. Another option is to transfer the SCT Pro Racer Package license from me to you, along with the SCT XCal II.

The car does have some dings here and there. The fenders have an aggressive roll to fit the wide tires, and as a result some paint on the edge has cracked. Along the fenders under the hood the paint has worn off. This is a factory defect, as my wife's '07 Freestyle has had the exact same issue. NO rust. This car has almost always lived in a garage. The left/front of the bumper cover is cracked. It's not noticeable standing up, but can certainly be seen when looking for it.

New photos from tonight after replacing the big 3082R with a more mid sized GTX2871R for faster spool. I'll adjust the tune this weekend or early next week as I have time.

Shot of the paint defect. It's exactly the same on our '07 Freestyle. I think it came off in the first year of ownership. It's not a show car so I never concerned myself with it.

The GTX2871R is on and running. I determined I need to put a stronger spring in the BOV due to lean bogs between shifts. With the BOV unhooked (always closed) it doesn't happen at all.
The boost comes on smooth and fast with the new turbo. It's a surprisingly quiet. Quieter than the previous garrett GT2871R I had on before. On just the 17psi wastegate the 235's spin easily.
Even though the Focus is for sale, I still plan on driving it and racing it if I get the chance. I certainly haven't lost the love for the car. It's still a blast to drive!

This makes me slightly sad, cuz I like weird builds.
Good luck selling it ! Hopefully you don't have to end up parting it out.

Too many toys since you bought the mach ?

Yeah, not enough parking at my place to keep 4 cars. At least it I want to keep the mrs happy! I won't part out the focus. If I can't sell it I'll sell the Mach 1 instead. I've sunk 10 years into the Focus. I'm not about to tear it apart. It might be different if I were in a financial bind, but these are purely paid-off toys.

Bump. I think it's priced fairly, but if you want to make an offer feel free. Low ballers will be ignored.
I may consider trading for a nice daily driver that gets great gas mileage for my wife to use.

I would consider selling the car by itself for $7,000.
I'd much rather sell all parts with the car. I conservatively totaled up the value of the extra parts at $2,400, so I feel my asking price of $8K for everything is very reasonable, and would save someone a lot of money.

Any serious buyers feel free to request photos/video. I am busy; so don't bother requesting anything if you don't have the funds. I will go out of my way to make sure a serious buyer is comfortable with their purchase.

$7K is firm for just the car. Any lower and we can negotiate what parts will come off the car.

Hey Mark, how does this car do in the snow? Approximate MPG? My brother is looking for a daily and wants something fun, but needs to get decent gas mileage and go well in the snow. He'll be commuting from Morgantown to Southpointe regularly soon. He's been looking at Mazdaspeed 3's and Mazdaspeed 6's, but this could be an interesting alternative for him

Snow would depend a lot on tires. The tires that come with it are not great. I've had snow tires on it before and it made a world of difference. It does have a limited slip, so that would also help.
As for MPG, it averages around 23mpg. I can't say the last time I took it on a highway trip without getting into the boost some. My interstate trips tend to be around 24-25mpg. Since it is tuned with the SCT Pro Racer Package, the tune could be adjusted more towards mileage if he wants.
It is definitely torquey and has an aggressive clutch, so that would also impact driving in the snow.

A young guy from KY bought it. I think he'll have his hands full for sure as he's not owned a turbo car. I don't think he'll push it to it's potential. He and his buddy were very shocked at the acceleration on 20psi. It was a new concept for them. He'd also never driven a puck style clutch. I'm sure he'll get used to it pretty quickly.
