View Full Version : A public thank you to Tim Rodeheaver
Hey scmc, I just wanted to thank Tim Rodeheaver on the forums for helping me out with my 95 gt. When I bought the car we knew it had problems and tried our best to fix it but could not pin point the problem exactly. After a month of trying to work on the car I decided to give Tim a call at his Hot Rod shop and see what he could do for me. After taking a look at my car he knew exactly what he was talking about and knew the problem. He is a very nice guy and made my car run a lot better. We still have work to do on it but he definitely guided us into the right direction and I appreciate that. I recommend him for anyone having trouble with their car or need help putting mods on, this man is a 5.0 expert. Thanks again Tim!

I've always had good experiences with Tim and the crew at his shop. I give him all the business I can.

Yea Tim is awesome to deal with. Really knows his shit.
Tim really helped him out. He's got my business as well. That shop was amazing, didn't realize how big the place was. It was great meeting Tim and his father.
Thanks again guys!

Another vote for Timmy. Great guy and his Dad is great too! Oh - and met his brother at the track day - he has great taste in cars - has a SMG GT like me! Tim did the motor/tranny install and tune on my '66. I'm very happy with his work. Just an all around good guy!!

Another recommendation for tim....
Him and the crew have built me multiple exhausts, done multiple sets of gears, tuned my car, and probably more.
Tim spent 3-4 hours on Tuesday trying to chase a missfire at idle on my car. We never got it figured out yet but most shops wouldn't spend that kind of time like that.

While talking to Tim he actually mentioned your car and how impressive it is! He said something about a guy who had a turbo v6 who blows cars away, and I'm like I know who your talking about!

Idk if I'd call it impressive. It is different for sure though, lol. Wouldn't say it blows stuff away but it can hang pretty well with most typical bolt on street cars. Actually kept up with tim's 2015 relatively well the other day, lol

Tim runs a great shop and I consider him a friend. Always goes out of his way when I need on the dyno or something done (sucking up because I need gears done, lol) ;)
seriously, I took all the NMRA / NMCA stuff off my car for Pinks. Hopefully it gets a little air time when our episode airs...

Tim spent at least 25 minutes trying to help me work through an issue I had once I switched to E85, and I have never given him a dime in my life. And I called him at like 5 on a Friday, was trying to get the car ready to race. When I find some time I am gonna bring it out and we will put it on the dyno.

Tim is a great guy and will go to extremes to help people. I have seen him in the field at Carlisle under a car helping a guy replace a fuel pump is the baking sun. I have also seen him at multiple flashlight drags under the hood of cars helping people fix issues. How many people do you know willing to give up a pass or two to help some one get their car back out on the track.
