Yeah, the news today said the video actually shows him getting stuck and then also of him pulling the barb out himself... then he dies moments later. :(

I just read that a professor of "media ethics" (<<< who knew?) says the video should be destroyed because there is no credible use for it. "Deaths from stingrays are so rare that it shouldn't even be shown as a safety lesson."

Apparently that barb is so powerful that it can penetrate a piece of 1/4" plyboard. Another doctor said the poison did not kill him. The actual barb must've went directly into his heart rendering the muscle useless or it lacerated multiple arteries. :astonished:
