The black wrap would be nice! Let me know how that SR shifter feels. I'm so partial to MGW because of how amazing they are.. Steeda's Tri-Ax has to be the worst ST i've used.

I'm about to go clean some of the interior pieces I removed so I could replace a heater core. From the looks of things, the interior hasn't had a real good cleaning since about 1990. lol Previous owners were probably hoping the beige interior would turn black over time.

Oh shit I don't feel so crazy now haha.. I took a lot of heat for it because everytime I had it out, I was waxing it.. My friends were like "I think its clean dude". And then I looked and said "no its not" and clay bar'd it a week later rofl.. Then waxed it 5 times post clay barring it.. So I'm pretty hardcore about mine staying clean. I take the wheels off, and wax them too.. Lol. I didn't take as good of care of it last year, but I'll make up for it now haha

Ahh that explains why you washed/waxed it then. I was thinking to myself. Why the hell would you be doing that, its freezing out.. My dad was nice enough to lend me his 2nd garage to let me store it in there. I just had to pay to insulate it, and he said I can store it there anytime I want. So I was pumped. Because I was going to build a carport type garage if I didn't have somewhere to store it haha..Just to keep it clean. I cant wait for the weather to break.

I have a front plate on mine, although I'm almost glad its there because someone hit the front of my car and the only damage was they cracked my front plate.. They didn't do any other damage. I was so relieved haha

I sold my 98 cobra and turbo notch to two different people out of state on svtp. One was from tennesse and the other from texas. I only had a handfull of pics of the cobra and maybe 3 or 4 of the notch. I was amazed they sent a carrier out to pick them up and got cash before that even happened. They were both very pleased with the cars and I guess I was convincing over the phone but wow I don't think I could do that either...

How did yours go? Happy with the condition? I think ebay would scare me even more than a forum.

They were both "learning experiences" for sure. I bought my 04 Cavalier in 06 with 26k miles off eBay, and my only error was not securing the loan before I bought the car. Other than that I sent a truck down to get it in Cincinnati and never had a problem with the car.

I bought my Cobra on SVTP in San Antonio and drove it back. About 800 miles away it blew a plug out of the head just outside of Memphis. I know this could have happened anywhere and you just never know, but i definitely should've had it checked before I bought it. Hindsight is 20/20 though and they have both turned out to be great cars.

Well if you read what AmericanMuscle says (eye roll) they claim JLT is worse than BBK according to their "dyno" results.. Which is all a load of garbage. Pulling up the Steeda vs JLT vs Airaid results, JLT provided the highest tq curve, and finished in the middle with the HP. Airaid had the highest HP gain, but also a lower torque curve. But according to american *cough* morons er muscle, the Airaid gives a gain of 35 hp / 55 tq w/ a tune and JLT gets a 22 hp / 18 tq, with BBK coming in at 31 hp/47tq. My only problem with that is the BBK CAI rusts really bad, and it sucks.. LOL.. < /endrant >

Sounds awesome. I really love a Deep Blue, and one of my dreams is to someday have a car in blue.. Don't know if I'll ever get that luxury. I expect lots of pics when you get it though!

Thats no excuse.. Go take one of those generator lights they run for construction at night. You can light up the whole neighborhood with those haha

Its funny because I dropped the car off at 3, went to work, and then left work at 6 to pick it up. My boss was very generous lol. Then I went back to work...

Nothing for the mustang recently, but I got a new CAI for my G8 in the mail yesterday. Been looking online for a good deal for a while. With the G8's being relatively rare used parts don't pop up nearly as often as they do for mustangs and they're usually gobbled up quick. Just happened to be the first guy to see the for sale thread for once, it was a good feeling, lol.

Hoping to have at least a smaller pulley on the maggie, CAI, electric cutouts, and a new tune by spring. Thinking I'll likely do a small cam as well. Hoping to be over 500RWHP when it's all said and done if I get the cam, but that my be asking a lot of a motor with over 100k on the clock and a maggie which probably has at least 80k on it.

That G8 can do it lol. I think you'll make it.. That is about the best feeling in the world being the first guy to see the for sale thread. I been trying to find a good condition used MGW T4/T45.. Those things are gone before they even post them up I swear...

Finally got the stang up to the farm garage to change the oil and and clean it up a bit. At 1600 miles this is the first oil change, I think ford had the hulk put the oil filter on. Damn near twisted it in half to get it off.

If I had a lift I could do a lot of things on my own.. Instead of laying on the ground all balled up yelling at stuff lol

I can't count how many times i've layed under my car, swearing at the world as my arm got stuck in the under carriage or a tool was just out of reach or a ratchet fell and hit me :biting:

The worst was pulling the heater core out of my old Beretta. Hoses were rusted onto the heater core lines, pulled one and POW coolant all over me.

Trim blacked the foglight buckets, and a shot of the front bumper. You would never know there was holes.

Hooked a jump pack up. Started it up. Drove it around for 10 minutes. Parked it.
