What is a good starting pressure? I never took notes and I've no idea what we were trying last summer. Tomorrow we are going to Quaker Motor Sport and want to try to get this thing to hook. I added the SLP line lock kit, hope to get a better heat up.

I'd say somewhere around 17 psi would be a good starting point then creep down from there if necessary.

Have you ever been on a biased tire like these? I tend to tell people to start a little higher until they are comfortable with slick walk. That said ...
I would start at 15 psi. If it walks to much for you go up, if it's spinning and you are comfortable work down. I suspect you will end up 13 to 14.
Real important on Hoosier tires is burnout procedure. Get them spinning on the line lock, release it and start to back off the throttle. As the RPM drop, you will feel them bite. Power down and stage immediately. If you hammer them on the burnout, they will get greasy.

Yes, we ran these tires last summer, I just have no recollection of what pressure was used.
