Hi my name is Eric, glad to see a sight that has some local information. I am a car guy, that likes all cars. I bought a 2012 GT500 back in February, and have looking for sites that offer local people, cruises, and to make some new freinds. I was told about this sight by a memeber at a local cruise-in car show and am glad to be a member.
My shelby is race red, glass roof, svtpp, electronic/nav, with recaros. The car is stock and more than likely I will keep it that way. I bought it with the intention to leave for my son when I am gone. I doubt it would be worth anything 30 years from now except the memories to him of flying out with me to buy it a drive it home
Growing up my dad was pretty much the greaser type so needless to say while others where watching the game we where wrenching on something. Other kids got a football for Christmas I got a craftsman tool set. He was a mopar guy, I have owned quite a few vehicles over the years from everything to Jeeps with built smal block chevy's that I would show, jeeps I would use to run the blackwater 100 in wv. Mustang, t-birds, I still have. 1973 AMX with 401, super T-10, pierre cardin interior, 3:91 I bought when I was 17 off a guy that lost his job. It currently has 29,000 original miles and needs restored. I spent the restoration money to buy the shelby.
Currently I am using my droid for this post but when I have time I will post up some picks of the Shelby. Hopefully will get to meet some people locally, since it seems to rain nearly every weekend so cruises arent always possible I have a beer meister and not afraid to use it hanging out with friends!
