You need o2's. After the car warms up it goes into closed loop.. Its uses the o2's to adjust your AFR..

Have new bungs welded in downstream in the exhaust a few inches. Thats what I did when I had an AODE with my long tubes.

This... just relocate the bungs.

Back in the day ('07), I was too cheap to get a real tune done on my '90 supercharged notch, so I did it the ghetto way. Unplugged 02's, locked out distributor at 18* (race gas), and adjusted A/F's by fuel pressure. Worked awesome for my car, not sure how I cane about doing it that way, but the car ran great. I tuned the car with a wideband to 11.7 to 1 at full throttle, and it idled at 14.5ish. I had a really good PMAS meter though, the car wouldn't run with a 76mm C+L. FWIW, the initial combo was a stock short with GT40ps, N41, and Typhoon intake, 44lb injectors. Required around 58 psi fuel pressure. I blew that up (overrev), went to a stock long block, reduced down to 44 psi to maintain the same AF's.
