Is anyone using solid motor and or tranny mounts? What do you think of them?

Solid engine mounts and a poly trans mount.

I would not recomend using a solid trans mount with solid motor mounts. There is no flex that way and you could end up breaking a bell housing.

I guess the point I was trying to make it there is no flex and it puts a bind on things. If it is a street car stay away from all solid mounting points, I learned the hard way by breaking a transmission case on an expensive transmission.:goodidea:

I run all poly mounts. I don't really see a benefit from solid mounts if the polys work fine why put the extra stress on parts. Plus non-solid motor mounts help take out any extra harmonics.
