Thanks to everyone at PRP tonight pulling for me to get that damn 11.9999999 ... but it never happened. Best pass of the night was ...

60' - 1.60
330' - 4.82
1/8th - 7.64
1/8th - 90.18 mph
1000' - 10.01
1/4 - 12.0061 - yeah this sucks
1/4 - 116.49 MPH

FYI - this was a left lane MPH, so take that for what it's worth.

The good news is in addition to the 12 flat, the car ran 12.06, 12.03, 12.04 so it should be able to bracket race. There is more left in it for sure, I just needed to get some laps in.

Last pass of the night was a hot lap so I tried everything I had ... Car ran a new best (by a long shot) 60' time of 1.45 :D the pass sucked at a 12.22 with not much else going very well ;)

It was great to have a nice group like that out there!

I didn't get to talk to you but I watched the 12.00 pass. Looked great! I was busy breaking my friends Cobalt SS and beating on my other friends G8 GT. I'm a good RWD driver but I just can't do this wrong wheel drive shit.

Nice passes tonight. I would have pulled that passeneger seat for that 11sec pass

nice runs , i'll bet if you left just little harder, maybe higher than off idle, it might have went 11.99 lol.... i dont think its the sixty holding you back , at any other track that would have been an 11 sec run

Congrats Bob! With that top end turbo charge, you'll be harder to judge as well. I think I would have taken everything I possible could have out of there to get that 11.99. :D

Real glad you've got a nice tune going, congrats again.

Thanks guys!

I would have pulled that passeneger seat for that 11sec pass

We did pull the passenger seat, fire extinguisher, floor mats, etc out for the last couple of passes. Basically the car spun more (1.66-1.68 60's) and didn't get the desired result.

I need to quit being scared of the RPM and go for it once n a while ;)

Never a concern for me. I run my car flat out every pass and try to have fun. Sandbaggers suck the life out of racing.

Interesting, not much else you can remove from front end.

How about a pinch of nitrous, just for shits and giggles

Thanks! - Yeah, the wind was there when I was standing up there, and gone when I ran.

BTW - It was great to see you out there too ... I am hoping it motivates you to steal some stuff from Lou and get out there :D

Interesting, not much else you can remove from front end.

Well, I was looking at the hood :D Heck, I already took out half the cylinders ;)

How about a pinch of nitrous

I'm sure that would get me there ... We was actually joking about following one of the Nitrous cars that was running ... they was spraying enough on those things all I would of needed was a sniff of their purge :D A shot would get me there, so would another pound of boost, or a few degrees more timing up top. All of that (except the shot) can / will come with the new EMS.

Nice consistent passes Bob.......

I wish I would've seen that 1.45....sounds like that trans/rear/tire combo may be the ticket. ;)

116+ trap...there's 11's in it. I'm sure you'll be there before you know it.

I wish I would've seen that 1.45....

Don't read a lot into that, the more I've looked at the timeslips, I'm not buying it. I've never had issues with 60' times before (or heard of anyone) but still think something happened. There is no way that is real ... maybe I scared the 60' beam ???

116+ trap...there's 11's in it.

See above, this was the left lane, and I'm sure the MPH is high. This is more a 112.5 mph deal right now. I used to see this a lot with stock type springs on my car (low(er) front end). I went to Eibach launch springs, and the lanes got dead even for me (raised front end). Now I'm on coil overs and dropped the front again and the differences are back.

Hard to get good data when you can't trust the timing system.

Bob one time at Steel Valley Dragway it said I made a 1.6x 60ft on an unprepped surface with 255 DRs when I was running like 2.0x all day so it very well could have been a mistake but who knows. Either way, your launches remind me of mine in my car, looks great!

Might have been a bug crossing into beam.

Put them on the limiter and let 'er fly :D Hopefully you saw Ed's car, he is right there, just not as noisy ;)

Might have been a bug crossing into beam.

I wonder if a bug can be trained to go out and work on the finish line beam :D

bet it was a fun evening!!!

I generally have fun at the track, even if the car is all over or frigged up ... If it wasn't fun, I would stop going ... It was real fun Thursday, lots of regulars, also lots of people that don't get out there much any more ... I miss the old days for sure.

The hope is to be able to race it at 12 flat, and will try TS at Columbus. In the hot / Humid on Sunday it was 12.20's so I need more. Norwalk is on the Calendar.

There is more in here with added boost, I just am injector limited right now and don't want to push it. I also am starting to think I am "connecting rod limited", but not much I can do with that right now. Mines about the area where the stock short blocks start to show issues ;)
