Michigan – June 11-12, 2010
7th Annual Aeromotive NMRA Ford Nationals
Milan Dragway – Milan, MI
Is anyone planning on going to the NMRA Milan race? We as just looking at hotels for Carlisle, and I started to have a dilema between hanging out at a show in Carlisle or racing in Michigan a weekend later. It's one or the other, last night Milan was winning ...
Anyone?

Yep, my brother and I and some friends will be going.
Josh will probably run True Street, hoping for a 9 this year with new 275/60 MTs (he ran 10.32 on the 18" MTs).
I will be testing my auto set-up there, hopefully I can test and get my license before then or else I'll be doing it at the race. Hoping for an 8.999 :)
Also, people should note this is a Fri/Sat race. I actually like that format better for travel home and the late night racing is cool Friday under the lights (and cool weather).

Cool J - I am leaning to making my plans around this. Can't seem to get motivated for Carlisle, and wouldn't be able to do both ...
You guys camping or doing a hotel? Let me know details if you have them figured out yet.

My brother and parents live about a half hour away, so I'm set :)
Let me know if you want some hotel info., used to deliver pizza around there, one real classy place with a hot tub you can rent by the hour ;)

I'll pass on that one ;) i'll let you know what we decide, but right now I'm leaning to there over Carlisle.

Do the race man, way better than a car show ;)
I'm taking that whole week off (graduate on the 5th) and if things go well will do TNT on that Wed. and race fri/sat. NMRA Milan has always been a great race.
If my family had more room I'd offer you a guest room but we're multiplying like rabbits :)

The Milan race is really fun, good turn out, and alot of big names will be there. We had a booth in manufactures midway last year, and we are planning on doing it again this year. if you go to the race you wont be dissapointed at all.

I'll be there for sure, it's one of the closest races to me and I've never raced that track yet. The nmra races are pretty good and a better turn out than the ffw races used to get.
