Is anybody going to PRP this weekend? It might be one of the last chances to run this year.

Pitt, as in Panthers? If they play Saturday, the weather may be rainy moving the races to Sunday. If so, maybe I'll see you there.

The way the weather is looking, it's probably going to be Sunday you guys get to race. My junk is busted, so I'm done for the year. I sure hope you all get to set some new bests though. And I hope the weather is decent next weekend. I'd like to at least watch and get another little fix in.

They still doing the retarded back entrance and left side return?
I do like Dave Norris's new ride. He had a twin turbo Camaro getting ready for Fastest Street Car race. Thing went 8.08 first pass, 7.60@187 next pass both of which didn't sound perfect from motor. Car really didn't look like it was going as fast as it was.

12.20....never thought the car would do that good with the lowering springs I put on last winter. Plus I had more weight in the car vs the last time I raced

That wasn't the case when I was there.:dunno:

Your car looked good going down the track. First time I saw it in person, it's impressive.
Did you happen to see the tt 80's camaro in the street car section? That thing looked scary. Ran pretty well too...

Just 17inch nitto DR'S. Not my favorites by any means. The car trapped 116 before so I know with some sticky tires there's 11's in it.

Lol, that would have been nice. Just covered my cars up for the winter tonight, what a crappy feeling.

I THINK - not verified at all - that PRP will stay open into November weather permitting. I'll post when I get verification.

I went with some buddies on Sunday. Ran a new best in my car. 11.65 @ 124.55 with a 2.0 60'. Not bad for 18" street tires, and a shitty tune and clutch. My buddies Del Sol went 11.30 @ 131 on low boost spinning 1-4 gear. Going back next week with new suspension and bigger slicks to hopefully hit some mid 10s.

I don't think it broke. Heard it blew off a connection somewhere on the turbo piping.
Think he ran it after that. Pretty wicked though for a car that was driven there and back..

Me too. I pulled up the PRP website, says track open, but I'm not going today. Windy as hell and looks like it's going to cut loose raining any second now. Maybe next week.

CWH, the racing will probably go close to 6, maybe a little after depending on car count and entries in the gambler's race. If you end up coming up later, you should still get a little fix, and probably slide through the gate free.
Racing next Saturday, weather permitting. Check out the PRP homepage, there will be an index race November 21.

U the man Chuck, thanx for the great professional announcing, lol! Got six runz in today. 3-13.9s n 3-13.8 passes for me. 2-1.9 sixty foots. 2-100mph clubers. Havin some of my best reaction times goin on today too. My best reaction time to date was today a .001, oh yeaahhhhh!!!!
Announced today that the last remnant's of the T'n'T'ers will have run off bracket racin elimination rounds next year! About a dozon er so rides this evenin dialed there times and raced. Unfortunately I red light for my second time ever, I had -.02. I ran him down thou and if I wouldn't of red lit I would'uv won, cause he broke out.
Not exacty sure how it will all work out thou. If you'll have a pot of cash you'll win, or a trophy, um sure Chuck will update n fill us in on everything as the new season approaches.

My pleasure Brent! I like the idea of dialing the cars in on the last pass of the test n tune. It's just for fun, to give folks a taste of what bracket racing is. Doesn't cost a thing, and maybe those racers will try a regular race day. I like it just for the practice.
Great day to wrap up with real racing and race cars. Some neat rides out there yesterday. If it weren't for a couple of clean ups, probably would have gotten another pass in. The index race Nov 21 will be rain or shine, and will wrap up the season.
