at PRP. No juniors, no show cars, weather looks great. Time trials start at 1pm, eliminations after the 2 time trial sessions.

I think I may go as a spectator. Really need to get my car on a dyno to make sure A/F is safe. I'll be in the pits where Mark, (Motorwerks), and Brian, (yellow Pinto), pit.

Nope, wont be there again today ...... Year previous, I did whatever I needed to make race days, now I could care less.

Had a ball at Norwalk last weekend, it rained in the moring, and at the start of eliminations, and they stuck with it and didnt take $5.00 a time pass off anyone.

They still think it's "the economy".

Can't wait for NMRA Columbus.

mmm no juniors.

I can't wait today to see how my car runs. I was impressed at the ET and mph into those nasty headwinds last weekend it was doing. Gonna be interesting with no head wind. Might have to play with the fuel some more today.

I didn't see what you ran last weekend Ed??? That headwind knock's the snot out of mine too. If you made some good numbers in a wind, look out :D

Your right Lou.

Everywhere else I've been this year has made me feel like they actually apreciated me coming there and spending my money with them.

I just burned out on hearing how bad "they" have it, then found out how nice it can be other places.

The NMRA racing has spoiled me. Top notch track prep, quick clean up, they will race till midnight to get the day in, and you don't get the feeling that the staff is inconvenienced by your presence. The straw that broke the camels back for me was the street car race up there last year, I made 3 test n tune passes and it cost me 125.00 in entry fees, no refund was given.

The NMRA racing has spoiled me.

I though it was that too, you know, big show with professional operators running the show.....

Turns out, it's not the case for me. Went to Steel Valley (hole in the wall), but they treated us like they were really happy we where there. Same thing at Quaker City this year, there is a track on verge of being shut down every week, yet they everyone was beyond nice and helpfull.

I'm actually thinking about puttng together something a little more "class" legal for next year and just running NMRA & Ford races that pop up.

When I get the bug again, im going to focus on the bigger events that are close to home. NMRA, NMCA, Stick Car races, ETC. I wish someone in this area would put together some index racing, that would be cool.

Amy Romeo runnered up to Rich Penn ('99 Trans Am) in Street. In Modified, Balaska was just .0002 under, getting sent hard by Dave Dominick, who ended up winning the class in his dad's '66 Chevy II.
