The only complaint I have is that the inside of the upper intake could be a little smoother. I wonder how much it would cost to port it?

Looks alright but I think if "I" was building a S/c mod motor I woulda went with a riehhart(spelling) raceing intake. I like when there is more of an even looking flow pattern to an intake. Don't get me wrong maybe I am just not seeing the flow pattern from the sharply curved intake elbow to all intake runners. It is nice looking in black though.

To bad the RR intake cost 1500. They did invert the the alternator on the tfs to straighten and widen the runners.

1500 is pretty steep til ya pay for full port on this one. I know to fully port a Super Vic intake its 900 just in labor. Granted it may be a lil cheaper on this as it comes all apart. So the price you paid for it plus the cost might put ya near that 1500.

I'm not going to port it as of now. Then I would look in to extrude hoaning.

Nice intake. The TFS one is basically a Bullet intake improved upon slightly. Not worth the money if staying NA(can't beat the stock plastic unit) unless spinning to atleast 7grand but for a power adder its a good improvement.

Actually the runners are a lot wider and straighter than the bullet because they invert the alternator allowing for a lot more room. Plus there more volume and it's a lot eaiser to port later than the bullit.

You can tell by these pics I found online. the intake to head ports on the TFS are a good bit bigger. Plus there's a lot more volume in the center of the TFS intake. You can't even see the runners on the TFS like the bullitt. That tells me the runners are probably a lot shorter also. Should go good with ported heads especially their's.

These are pics I found I compared to the ones I took of my new TFS intake with an oval throttle body plenum.

The inverted alternator is allowing for a lot wider runner also.

First the bullitt intake pics..

Smaller ports

Narrower but deeper in the center compared to the TFS.

The runners have to curve and narrow unlike the TFS.

Tfs intake pics.

Larger ports

Straighter wider runners

Will except any size oval TB even the single blade.

Does any have pics of the inside of the bullitt?

I found a pic of of the svo intake which is supposed to be a lot like the inside of the bullitt. The runners are longer and more restrictive. The TFS is more like a sheet metal intake inside. All open with the runners extended into the middle.

All the runners are a lot straighter than stock and all are the exact same lenght? It's an improvement on the bullit and it's good for about 30-35 on 500+ boosted car?

Looks pretty straight and even to me. and all the widths and lengths are the same the air just enters from year. As the bend goes into the intake it also widens so not to become a restriction.
