Anyone going to PRP this Saturday for their annual Night Of Fire? I guess in addition to the normal jet dragsters/funny cars they are going to have some nitro rear engine dragsters and altereds:goodidea:. I wish PRP would hold more of these types of events... they need to take some lessons from Beaver Springs.

Just to be clear, it's 2 nitro front engine dragsters, old school style.
It's an awesome time, I highly recommend coming out. And if you're spending $20 on spectator entry, why not enter in Trophy?? It costs the same and you get to make passes!

Affiliation, no.... great affection, yes. I love drag racing, both as a racer and a fan. I'm a weekly bracket racer, track rat, etc. I do write the results newsletter, but I am not on the payroll.

is there regular test n tune? I'd be cool if you could just go get some passes and go watch! i was goin to go either way but it would be sweeter if i could run my car with my neew tuner and tb/plenium :)

No, there is no test n tune on regular race days. You can run Trophy for $20, and you'll get at least 3 passes: 2 time trials and first round of eliminations. Plus, if you win, you get more passes. :awsome:

It was a cool show Saturday night, hope you guys caught it. The jets are ok and all, but I loved the nitro cars. Nothing like that nitro cackle. Some shots are in the beginning of the album:

I agree... the first time or two you see the jets, it's awesome and then after that it's ho-hum, but I never get sick of the nitro cars! Can't wait for the National's in 2010.
