Both more lift and more duration :)

intake from .510 to .525, exhaust from .510 to .515
duration is split, new is 240 I and 232 E ... old duration was under 230 but also split.

Cams is the 2.3 world are small compared to most other stuff you see. A stock type cam is .390 lift and an old school performance cam (MOTORSPORT A237) was in the .420 lift range

what kind of spring pressures are req'd with this deal and at what RPM do you intend to spin it?

    interesting I/E ratio split....

Can you elaborate on why the lifts and duration for the 2.3 turbo stuff is on the small side?

Is it due to valve control on a cam with a small base circle or geometry issue of the head or valve weights or something different?

Typically I run 150# on the seat, as much above 300# open as I can get. I’m at 340# now.

we just don’t have much room without screwing geometry. Typical spring installed heigh after cutting the spring pockets is 1.700.take any spring at that height and coil bind is something above 1.00 ... on mine I can’t go to .540 without giving up spring. If you lengthen the valve side you screw geimetryand run out of height on the lash adjuster side. We already tun small base circles, and the cam blanks available we still run out of lobe. In the range I run, weare down to 1.10 base circle, to get much more lift you end up at 1.00... all these changes to base circle also screw withgeometry and you need to add valve tip length with lash caps.

Its just a dinosaur platform and you have to work in what you can do.
