Cool. Got back to working on my Sport Coupe last week. Braking parts will be in this week possibly so I can start reassembly.

Sport's had 10" front disc and drum rear. I swapped all TC parts on both ends...11" fronts and discs in rear. Also going to a M/C with a 1" bore (1985 Towncar) and Wilwood manual prop valve.

Plan on suspension upgrades in future but want to get the HO/T5 swap sorted out first then move forward from there.

nice, Id like to go with vacuum brakes on my car but ill probably wait until the hydro assist screws up. It works fine I just dont like the feel of the pedal.

Do you use the cable clutch with that swap or can you use the hydraulic clutch from the TC?

Went cable so parts would be easier to come by if something broke on the road. Would like to use this for road tripping and vacations so I'm staying with mainly Ford parts in the driveline so nothing is real exotic. So far the only things not OEM are the throttle body, EGR and H-pipe.

Sure is a sad thing that the T-bird was given a lowly 150hp 5.0L when putting in the HO would have made life much better!!

Staying SD for now...will see how that goes. If I break the motor open for heads or cam down the road then MA will likely follow. This is the car I'm putting your strut tower brace on.

I love those old TC's. I took my mom's 87 turbo coupe to my prom. It was the coolest car there!
